# The Crypto Trader Survival Guide

### Read This First

This guide is for educational purposes only. Nothing in it is financial advice, investment advice, or a guarantee of any specific result. Crypto trading is risky. You can lose money — especially when using leverage. Past performance does not predict future results. Always do your own research and never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

If you understand that and you're still reading, let's go.

### Why I Wrote This Guide

I've spent years trading crypto. Spot positions, leverage, swing trades, scalps, bull markets, brutal bear markets, and every flavor of sideways chop in between. I've made money. I've lost money. I've had trades that built my account and trades that humbled me back to zero on certain positions.

Along the way, I built a community of over 305,000 traders across YouTube, Instagram, X, and TikTok who follow what I do — and the one question I get asked more than any other is some version of:

> *"How do I stop losing money in crypto?"*

This guide is my answer.

I'm not going to teach you how to get rich. I'm not going to show you a magic indicator that prints money. I'm not going to promise you a 10x portfolio. Anyone selling you that is either lying or about to.

What I'm going to do is teach you how to **survive long enough to get good.**

Because that's the real secret nobody tells beginners: the traders who eventually do well aren't the ones who picked the right coin in their first month. They're the ones who didn't blow up their account in their first year. They're the ones who were still around when the next opportunity came.

This guide is the foundation I wish someone had handed me when I started. The mistakes to avoid. The mindset to build. The frameworks I actually use on my own accounts. The rules I follow on leverage. The way I think about risk, entries, exits, and emotions.

It's not everything I know. But it's enough to keep you from blowing up — and that's the most valuable thing anyone can give a new trader.

### Who This Guide Is For

This guide is for you if:

* You've **traded crypto before** but you don't have a real system
* You've taken losses you didn't fully understand
* You've used leverage and it's hurt you
* You've followed signals from random people online and it didn't work out
* You're tired of trading on emotion and want a real framework
* You want to learn how a working trader actually thinks about the market

**This guide is not for you if:**

* You want a get-rich-quick scheme. There isn't one.
* You want a guarantee. There aren't any in trading.
* You want me to tell you which coin to buy tomorrow. That's not what this is.
* You want validation for trading like a degenerate. I'm going to challenge that.

If you're here for real education, keep reading. If you're here for hype, there are plenty of other people on the internet selling that.

### How to Use This Guide

Don't try to memorize everything. That's not how trading works.

Read the whole thing once to understand the framework. Then come back to specific chapters when you need them. The pre-trade checklist near the end is the single most useful page — bookmark it, screenshot it, refer to it before every trade until the rules are second nature.

Some chapters will feel obvious. Some will challenge you. Some will make you uncomfortable about how you've been trading. That's the point.

The goal isn't to make you feel good. The goal is to make you a better trader.

If you can take even half of what's in this guide and actually apply it, you'll be ahead of 90% of the people clicking buy and sell on crypto every day.

### What You'll Learn

By the end of this guide, you'll understand:

* **Why most traders lose** — the patterns that destroy accounts before they ever start growing
* **How to actually protect your capital** — the foundation everything else is built on
* **Risk management that works** — position sizing, stop losses, invalidation, and the math behind survival
* **My spot trading strategy** — how I wait for crashes and scalp the bounces
* **My leverage trading rules** — including the hedge mode insurance policy that most retail traders don't know exists
* **The psychology of trading** — fear, greed, revenge trading, FOMO, and how to manage yourself when the market is testing you
* **A pre-trade checklist** — the questions to ask yourself before clicking buy
* **A weekly trading routine** — how to build discipline through structure
* **What to do next** — how to keep growing as a trader once you've finished this guide

That's a lot to cover. We're going to move quickly. No fluff, no filler.

### One Last Thing Before We Start

The market doesn't care about you.

It doesn't care that you need this trade to work. It doesn't care that you can't afford to lose. It doesn't care about your goals, your timeline, or your dreams.

That sounds harsh, but it's the most freeing thing you can internalize as a trader. The market is going to do what it's going to do. Your job is not to predict it perfectly. Your job is to build a system that makes money over time even when you're wrong on individual trades.

Most beginners try to be right. Professionals try to be disciplined.

That's the shift this guide is going to push you toward.

Let's get into it.
